Community Concerts of the Tri-Cities is planning an excellent concert series at Faith Tri-Cities Auditorium (FT) at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7:00 pm. The Faith Assembly Auditorium is at 1800 Road 72 (Near Court Street), Pasco. The current plans for the new season are as follows:
Artrageous – September 10, 2020
For the first time on one stage – the Fine Arts meet the Performing arts!
Experience the thrill of witnessing giant masterpieces being created before your eyes in mere moments and join the challenge to see if you can guess what is being created. Artrageous artists use bold colours with hands and brushes as they are inspired by the troupe’s vocalists and musicians as they race to complete the paintings before the last note. Their custom Artrageous soundtrack plays while creative art quotes and Artrageous facts are displayed on the video screen leaving the audience intrigued as to what will happen next.
Collision of Rhythm – October 8, 2020
Collision of Rhythm is a duo comprised of tap-dancing classical virtuoso, Aaron Williams, and beatbox-juggling keynote speaker, Bronkar Lee. They have worked with companies like GoPro, Coca Cola, and Google, and have been featured on The Tonight Show, America’s Got Talent, and SuperBowl commercials. Both have achieved internet fame with “rhythmic” viral videos — Aaron, through his virtuosic rendition of Mario on Marimba (over 100 million views), and Bronkar, as the Beatbox Dad, through a video of him beatboxing with his son (over 200 million views).
Christine Tassan Trio – March 4, 2021
The Christine Tassan Trio invites you on a journey to the heart of gypsy jazz! Christine Tassan, an experienced guitarist, has been evolving in the world of gypsy jazz for over 15 years. One of the few female solo guitarists in this style, she made herself known through her group, Christine Tassan and Les Imposteures, carrying out tours in Quebec, Canada and Europe.
Jim Curry – April 6, 2021
Jim Curry began his music career writing and performing the opening song, “The Time of Your Life” for his senior play. Even at this early stage in his life Jim’s natural voice resembled that of singer/songwriter John Denver. CBS television produced a made for TV movie: “Take Me Home, the John Denver Story” in which Jim landed an off-camera role singing as the voice of John Denver. This experience inspired Jim to produce full–length John Denver tribute concerts. Embracing the similarities, Jim continued to sing and specialize in the songs of John Denver, sharing John’s positive messages of love, humanity and environmental awareness.
Seraph Brass – May 8, 2021
Seraph Brass is a dynamic brass ensemble drawing from a roster of America’s top female brass players. Performing primarily as a brass quintet or sextet, Seraph also performs as a larger ensemble of 10 performers. Committed to engaging audiences with captivating programming, Seraph Brass presents a diverse body of repertoire that includes original transcriptions, newly commissioned works, and well-known classics. Seraph released their debut studio album, Asteria, on Summit Records in January 2018, winning a Silver Medal Global Music Award.
